Knowing how to move and handle people correctly is vital to providing the utmost care for your patients.  This is why any employee who works with people who need to be moved or handled as a part of their role needs to know what they are doing and do it safely. This course will increase your knowledge of moving and handling people safely and the risks, as well as the relevant legislation.

There are no set entry requirements for short courses. However, basic functional skills and interest in course is helpful. This course is for new starters or those who need to refresh their skills.
